Glass Shower Doors Peoria

Glass shower doors are what we are known for. Since 1982 (nearly 40 years!) we have specialized in creating unique, customized, and beautifully designed glass shower door creations for our amazing customers!

1. Frameless Shower Doors

A frameless shower door is made from a single pane, and typically pivots outwards into the room. This provides for a cleaner, and more modern look. These frameless pivot-style doors are elegant and stylish. They are also among the more long lasting, and structurally sound options, which explains the reason why they're frequently the most highly sought-after enclosures.

2. Completely Frameless Shower Doors

If you have a more “open space” style bathroom, you might want to consider a full frameless shower enclosure instead, which helps bring a sense of dimension to your bathroom.

Completely frameless enclosures could be square, curved, rectangular, or even hexagonal. The final size and shape will depend on the specific layout of your bathroom, and your budget.

3. Bi-Fold Shower Doors

For bathrooms with limited space, Bi-fold shower doors are a wonderful option.

Bi-Fold shower doors, are comprised of glass panels which fold inside the shower, allowing you to maximize the space in your bathroom to the highest extent.

These doors aren't only a practical solution for smaller spaces, but they're also quite affordable too.

4. Curved Glass Shower Doors

If you're looking to install a "walk-in" shower enclosure, then using curved glass doors can help you to really open up your shower. They do this by giving you the visual sense of the shower space being bigger than it actually is. Curved glass doors and enclosures nearly always feature a solid frame at both the top, and bottom, of the door.

Thanks to advancements in glass production technologies, there are a vast assortment of shower glass designs you can select from. Some of the glass style types which are the most popular with our customers include:

Clear Glass: This is the most common style of glass. It has a subtle green tint that is inherent to all Clear Glass styles . As such, we do not suggest this type of shower glass if your shower has pure white tile or marble, since it will create a green lighting to be cast against that pure white backdrop.

Low-Iron Glass: This option of shower glass is the best for overall glass clarity, and an excellent choice for lightly colored or white tiled showers.

* Please note that Clear and Low-Iron shower glass styles are ideal choices for smaller bathrooms, since they help to make the whole room look bigger.

Frosted Glass: This variant of shower glass is partially "opaque" glass, created from acid-etching or sandblasting the glass. Utilizing frosted glass techniques, we could make your whole shower door frosted, or frosting the glass can be used to create beautiful designs onto your enclosure.

Rain Glass: This is a unique, factory made patterned glass, which runs through the whole glass panel, which helps to bring a distinctly unique texture (and privacy guard) to your shower.

* Frosted, frosted-etched, rain textured, or tinted glass options, are usually the preferred choice if you're going for privacy, or when you have an older shower where you don't want to have the tile exposed to the sun, or have it seen from the exterior.

Frameless and Semi-Frameless: The strongest glass thickness variant that we offer for our frameless shower doors and enclosures, is a 1/2-inch thick architectural glass (which is HIGHLY suggested for frameless showers!). However, we also offer: 3/16-inch, 1/4-inch, and 3/8-inch glass.

Framed: For framed shower doors, we suggest utilizing a glass of a thickness of 3/16-inch or 1/4-inch. This allows the glass to be "lighter" (in comparison to thick and heavier frameless glass doors) which is due to the sturdy metal frames supporting the glass doors.

After we have a more clear understanding of your bathroom, and design specifications, we'll make a recommendation on which glass thickness will be the best option to use for your specific project.

When studying the variables that decide the purchase price of shower doors in Peoria, you first need to be aware of the style, size, and layout requirements of your shower, in addition to the design and aesthetic of your bathroom overall.

Larger showers usually require more glass than small ones, and will obviously have a higher price point in comparison to smaller showers.

Additionally, the sort of customizations you want will affect the overall price as well, with features including carved or chiseled edges, or frosted glass, often adding to the cost too.

The more "complex" the design, the higher the price tag. This is usually a result of additional materials needed, or time needed to produce/carve/frost etc. the glass pieces to your unique specifications.

It's also important to note that curved glass, or other uniquely shaped glass enclosures, are more costly than other more conventional "right-angled" doors.

Another crucial factor is the over-all size of the panels you need, and the thickness/quality of the glass.

Normally, custom glass shower doors may cost as low as $500-$600, and as much as $1,500+. The final cost depends on your specific desires and requirements. You will also need to factor in the installation rates which could range from $200-$300+ on average.

Frameless Shower Doors Peoria

Frameless Shower Doors: This type of shower enclosure or door comprises of quite thick, tempered glass (usually either 3/8" or 1/2" thick), giving the glass much greater strength, allowing for it to be quite sturdy and durable. There's also no need to frame each glass piece separately as other enclosure styles require. Usually, the only "metal components" you will find on a frameless shower door is on the hinges, as well as the hardware.

Semi-Frameless Shower Doors: This shower door type, can contain a "combination" of both framed, and frameless, glass door elements. The glass used in this type of door Is generally a bit thicker than in a typical "framed enclosure", and usually the doors of the enclosure itself are frameless.

Frameless glass shower doors have seen a massive rise in their popularity over the last decade, and with very good reason. Frameless doors offer a modern and clean look and feel, which can be more challenging to achieve with a conventional "framed style" enclosure option.

To get a custom frameless glass shower door (generally the best option when all options are taken under consideration), you're likely looking at investing between $900 to $2,000+ for a door and panel, with the typical amount coming in somewhere around $1,100 to $1,200.

The installation cost, which is separate in many cases, will generally be around $280 to $300.

Semi-frameless shower doors can have a very wide price range as well, usually running around $600 to $2,200 (based on the scope of the project).

While semi-frameless shower doors and enclosures are still used today, most modern bathroom designs are choosing the frameless design style. Frameless shower doors help to showcase the bathroom area, offer a more "open concept" look and feel, and provide much greater possibilities when it comes to future customization and design.

No. Frameless shower doors do not "leak", and the Az heat has no bearing on that. There are very small "gaps" near the hinges, and at times on the sides of the door, it is highly unlikely that water will leak through these gaps unless water pressure is forcefully and consistently pointed directly at those small openings.

We've created thousands of frameless enclosures within the last 40 years, and "leaking" is not a concern. But if we see that water leakage may be an issue (for example, if your tile/floor slopes the wrong direction, or the direction/placement of a shower head is pointed right at the seams of the frameless enclosure) we will bring it to your attention during the time of measurement, and propose possible remedies prior to moving forward.

Since frameless glass shower doors do not have thick framing, they're (aesthetically speaking) a far superior option to any other shower door options currently available on the market today. They allow for your bathroom’s color scheme, tiles, flooring, lighting fixtures, and other bathroom aesthetics to be highlighted.

Furthermore, frameless glass shower doors are much easier to keep clean, since they don't have metal framing, they only have the glass and nominal perimeter support. Given these factors, the frameless option tends to last for a longer period of time than an enclosure with a traditional metal frame.

Large Custom Shower Doors Peoria

We make ordering custom shower doors exciting, fun, and a total breeze!

Our custom shower doors can vary from clean-cut lines and full multi-panel enclosures, to chiseled edges with unique designs and motifs.

If you can dream it up … we can make it a reality!

With many Arizona shower doors projects, the final price will depend on the respective project, and be based on your own specific goals, wants, and project specifications.

For smaller projects (using less detailed customizations for example), the average rate would be anywhere from $600 to $1,000, and up to $1,500 or more.

For projects requiring heavier customization (for example frosted glass incorporating a chiseled top that’s designed to look like mountain peaks), it could be around $1,500 to $2,000 or more.

We've created stunning custom shower doors for as low as $1,000 for small bathroom projects, and we’ve also installed custom shower doors for big estate bathrooms costing more than $25,000 or more.

Whatever your custom shower door goal is, we will work together with you and your designated budget, to bring your dream to life!

That will primarily depend on how long it takes for you to make your final choices on the door type, glass type, desired customizations, hardware, etc.

Once we have the details figured out, and we have completed the measurements of your shower, we'll supply you with a cost and time estimate.

Once your order has been finalized, it usually takes roughly two-weeks from the final measure visit, to installation. But if it is a larger project, or one with many customizations, then it may possibly take a little longer.

The best way to figure out time tables, is to reach out to us and inform our team about your project, and then we would have the ability to give you a pretty good estimate.

We honestly can't answer that until we know more about exactly what it is you are looking for.

We believe in being honest and up-front from the start when it comes to our pricing (that's literally one of the primary reasons why our company has such a trusted reputation with our amazing customers).

We don't turn away "small projects" just because of "lower budgets". We want to see everybody get to have their perfect custom shower enclosure that they have always dreamed of, and if we could make that happen for you, we will!

And if we don't believe we can provide the quality and specifications of the custom shower doors you want (within your particular budget), we'll let you know from the get-go and guarantee not to waste your time.

But if we are able to provide similar options, or maybe suggest an alternative option you maybe had not considered (that would still work around your budget), we will be happy to do so.

Quite often, customers with smaller budgets don't even know all the options available to them, and therefore, don't give us a call believing there's "nothing we could do for them".

But when they finally do reach out to us, they're usually pleasantly surprised. There are a plethora budget-friendly options which we could help you to learn more about.

It's not unusual for a client to reach out to us needing one thing, and actually end up ordering something else which fit their project even better ... and it is usually an option which they didn't even know existed until we had shown them! (believe us when we say, this happens a LOT)

So please don't be afraid to reach out to us if you have a "smaller" budget! We'd love the chance to get to work together with you, and if we can't, we'll let you know right away … (and maybe even have the ability to provide a reliable referral to you for somebody else who can).

When you reach out to us, you're calling a friendly, family-owned company. You're talking to real people, who wish to help if we are able to, and we will treat you with the same respect, friendliness, and honesty with which we would treat a member of our own family.

That has been our view from the beginning … treat people with respect, friendliness, and honesty... and our countless repeat customers have come to rely on us for that!
