Glass Shower Doors Mesa installed by Experts In a Bathroom

Beautiful glass shower Doors are what we have become known for. Since 1982 (going on 40 years!) we have specialized in creating unique, customized, and beautifully designed glass shower door creations for our amazing clients!

1. Frameless Shower Enclosures

A frameless shower door is made of one single pane, and typically pivots outwards into the space. This provides for a cleaner, and more modern look. These frameless pivot-style doors are elegant and trendy. They are also one of the more sturdy, and structurally sound options, which explains why they're frequently the most highly sought-after enclosures.

2. Completely Frameless Shower Enclosures

If you have a more “open space” style bathroom, you might want to consider a full frameless shower enclosure instead, which helps bring a sense of dimension to your bathroom.

Completely frameless enclosures can be square, curved, rectangular, or even hexagonal. The final dimensions and shape will depend on the specific configuration of your bathroom, and your budget.

3. Bi-Fold Shower Enclosures

For bathrooms with limited space, Bi-fold shower enclosures are usually a wonderful choice.

Bi-Fold shower doors, are comprised of glass panels which fold inside the shower, enabling you to maximize the space in your bathroom to the highest extent.

These doors aren't only a practical solution for smaller spaces, but they're also quite reasonably priced as well.

4. Curved Glass Shower Enclosures

If you are looking to install a "walk-in" shower area, then using curved glass doors can help to really open up your shower space. They do this by giving you the visual sense of the shower space being bigger than it actually is. Curved glass doors & enclosures almost always feature a frame at both the top, and bottom, of the door.

Thanks to new advancements in glass production technology, there are a vast assortment of shower glass design types that you can choose from. Some of the glass design types which are the most popular with our clients include:

Clear Glass: This is the most frequently used style of glass. It has a slight green tint that's inherent to all Clear Glass styles . Therefore, we do not recommend this type of shower glass if your shower features pure white marble or tile, since it will cause a green lighting to be cast against that solid white backdrop.

Low-Iron Glass: This variant of shower glass is the best for complete glass clarity, and an excellent option for lightly colored or white tiled showers.

* Please note that Clear & Low-Iron shower glass styles are ideal choices for smaller bathrooms, since they help to make the bathroom look bigger.

Frosted Glass: This style of shower glass is partly "opaque" glass, created from acid-etching or sandblasting the glass. Utilizing frosted glass techniques, we can make your entire shower door frosted, or frosted glass can be used to add beautiful designs onto your enclosure.

Rain Glass: This is a unique, factory made patterned shower glass, which runs through the entire glass panel, which helps to bring a distinctly unique textured feel (and privacy protection) to your shower.

* Frosted, frosted-etched, rain textured, or tinted glass styles, are usually the preferred choice if you are looking for privacy, or when you have an older shower in which you don't want to have the tile exposed to UV rays, or have it seen from the outside.

Frameless & Semi-Frameless: The most durable glass thickness variant that we provide in our frameless shower doors & enclosures, is a 1/2-inch thick architectural glass (which is HIGHLY recommended for frameless showers!). Additionally, we also offer: 3/16-inch, 1/4-inch, and 3/8-inch glass.

Framed: For framed shower projects, we recommend utilizing a glass of a thickness of 3/16-inch or 1/4-inch. This enables the glass to become "lighter" (in comparison to thick and heavier frameless glass doors) which is due to the sturdy metal frames supporting the glass.

After we have a better understanding of your bathroom, and design goals, we will make a recommendation on which thickness would be the ideal choice to use for your specific project.

When studying the variables that decide the price of shower doors in Mesa, first you want to know the design, dimensions, and layout of your shower, as well as the design and aesthetic of your bathroom overall.

Larger showers usually require more glass than compact ones, and will usually have a higher price point in comparison to smaller showers.

Additionally, the sort of customizations you desire will affect the overall price as well, with customizations like carved or chiseled edges, or frosted glass, often adding to the cost too.

The more "customized" the design, the higher the cost. This is usually a result of extra materials needed, or time needed to produce/carve/frost etc. the glass pieces to your unique specifications.

It is also important to note that curved glass, or other uniquely shaped glass panels, are more expensive than other more traditional "right-angled" doors.

Another key factor is the over-all dimensions of the panels you require, and also the thickness/quality of the glass.

On average, custom glass shower doors may cost as low as $500-$600, and as much as $1,500+. The final cost depends on your specific needs and requirements. You will also have to factor in the installation costs which could vary from $200-$300+ on average.

Frameless Shower Doors Mesa In Modern Bathroom

Frameless Shower Doors: This style of shower door or enclosure comprises of quite thick, tempered glass (usually either 3/8" or 1/2" thick), giving the glass much increased strength, allowing for it to be quite sturdy and durable. There's also no need to frame each glass piece separately as other enclosure types require. Typically, the only "metal elements" you will find on a frameless shower door is on the hinges, and of course the handles.

Semi-Frameless Shower Doors: This shower enclosure type, can contain a "mix" of both framed, and frameless, glass door elements. The glass used in this type of door is usually a bit thicker than in a typical "framed shower", and usually the doors of the enclosure itself are frameless.

Frameless glass shower doors have seen a rapid increase in their demand during the last decade, and with very good reason. Frameless doors offer a modern and clean aesthetic, which can be much more challenging to achieve using a traditional "framed" enclosure option.

For a custom frameless glass shower door (generally the best choice when all things are taken under consideration), you are likely looking at paying around $900 - $2,000+ for a door and panel, with the average coming in somewhere around $1,100 - $1,200.

The installation price, which is separate in most cases, is usually about $280 - $300.

Semi-frameless shower doors can have a very wide price range as well, usually running around $600 - $2,200 (based on the scope of the project).

Even though semi-frameless shower doors & enclosures are still utilized today, most contemporary bathroom designs are opting for the frameless style. Frameless shower doors help to showcase the bathroom area, offer a more "open concept" aesthetic, and offer far greater possibilities when it comes to overall customization and design.

No. Frameless shower enclosures do not "leak", and the Az heat has no bearing on that. While there are very small "openings" near the hinges, and sometimes on the sides of the door, it is very unlikely that water will leak out through these openings unless water pressure is directly and consistently pointed directly at those small openings.

We have installed thousands of frameless enclosures within the last 40 years, and "leaking" isn't a concern. However, if we see that water leakage could possibly be an issue (for example, if your tile/floor slopes the wrong direction, or the direction/placement of a shower head is pointed directly at the seams of the frameless enclosure) we will bring it to your attention during the time of measurement, and suggest potential remedies before moving forward.

Since frameless glass shower enclosures do not have thick framing, they're (aesthetically speaking) a far superior option to any other shower door options currently available on the market today. They allow for your bathroom’s color theme, tiles, flooring, lighting fixtures, and other bathroom aesthetics to be highlighted.

Additionally, frameless glass shower enclosures are much easier to keep clean, because they do not have metal framing, only the glass and nominal perimeter support. Given these factors, the frameless option will last longer than a door with a traditional metal frame.

Double-Pane Glass Custom Shower Doors Mesa

We make ordering custom shower doors exciting, fun, and a total breeze!

Our custom shower doors range from clean-cut lines and full multi-panel enclosures, to etched edges with unique shapes and motifs.

If you can imagine a design … we can make it a reality!

With most Arizona shower doors projects, the final rate will depend on the respective project, and be priced according to your own specific goals, wants, and project specifications.

For smaller jobs (requiring less detailed customizations for example), the typical rate would be anywhere from $600 - $1,000, and up to $1,500 plus.

For heavily customized jobs (for instance frosted glass featuring an etched top that looks like mountain peaks), it might be close to $1,500 - $2,000 plus.

We have installed beautiful custom shower enclosures for as low as $1,000 for small bathroom jobs, and we have also installed custom shower enclosures for big estate bathrooms costing nearly $25,000 plus.

Whatever your custom shower door project is, we can work together with you and your designated budget, to bring your dream to life!

It will primarily depend on how long it takes for you to make your final choices on the glass type, door type, hardware and desired customizations, etc.

Once we have the details hammered out, and we have completed the measurements of your shower, we will supply you with a price and time quote.

Once your order has been placed, it usually takes around 2 weeks from the final measure visit, to installation. However, if it's a bigger project, or a project with many customizations, it may possibly take a little bit longer.

The best way to determine time tables, would be to reach out to us and inform our team about your project, and then we would be able to give you a fairly good estimate.

We honestly can't answer that until we learn more about exactly what it is you are looking for.

We believe in being up-front and honest from the start when it comes down to our pricing (that's literally one of the primary reasons why our company has such a trusted reputation with our awesome clients).

We don't turn down "small jobs" just because of "small budgets". We want to see everyone get to have their perfect custom shower enclosure that they have always wanted, and if we can make that happen for you, we will!

However if we don't believe we can provide the quality and specifications of the custom shower doors you would like (while staying within your particular budget), we will let you know from the get-go and promise not to waste your time.

However, if we are able to provide similar options, or possibly suggest an option you may have not known about (that could still work around your budget), we will be pleased to do so.

Often times, clients with smaller budgets don't even know all the other choices available to them, and therefore, don't call us thinking there's "nothing we can do for them".

However, when they finally do reach out to us, they're usually pleasantly surprised. There are a plethora budget-friendly options which we can help you to discover.

It is not unusual for a customer to reach out to us wanting one thing, and then end up placing an order for something else which matched their goals even better ... and it's usually an option which they did not even know existed until we had let them know about it! (believe us when we say, this happens ALL the time)

So please don't be afraid to reach out to us if you’re working with a "smaller" budget! We would love the chance to get to work together with you, and if we can't, we will let you know immediately … (and perhaps even be able to provide a good referral to you for someone else who can).

When you reach out to us, you are calling a friendly, family-owned company. You are talking to real people, who want to help if we are able to, and we will treat you with the same respect, friendliness, and honesty that we would treat a member of our own family.

That has been our outlook from the start … treat clients with respect, friendliness, and honesty... and our countless repeat clients have come to rely on us for that!
