Glass Shower Doors Gilbert

Beautiful glass shower Doors are what we have become known for. Since 1982 (going on 40 years!) we have specialized in creating unique, custom, and elegantly designed glass shower door creations for our amazing customers!

1. Frameless Shower Doors

A frameless shower door is made from one single pane, and typically pivots outwards into the room. This provides for a cleaner, and more modern aesthetic. These frameless ”pivot-style” doors are tasteful and stylish. They are also one of the more sturdy, and structurally sound varients, which is the reason why they're frequently the most highly sought-after enclosures.

2. Full Frameless Shower Doors

If you have a bigger bathroom, you might want to think about a full frameless shower enclosure instead, which helps add a sense of dimension to your space.

Full frameless enclosures can be square, curved, rectangular, or even hexagonal. The final size and shape will be based on the unique layout of your bathroom, and your budget.

3. Bi-Fold Shower Doors

For bathrooms with limited space, Bi-fold shower doors are an excellent option.

Bi-Fold shower doors, are comprised of panels that fold inside the shower, enabling you to maximize the space in your bathroom to the fullest.

These doors are not only a practical solution for smaller spaces, but they're also quite reasonably priced too.

4. Curved Glass Shower Doors

If you're looking to create a "walk-in" shower enclosure, then using curved glass doors can help you to really open up your shower space. They do this by giving you the visual sense of the shower being bigger than it actually is. Curved glass doors and enclosures nearly always feature a metal frame at both the top, and underside, of the enclosure.

Thanks to incredible progress in glass production technology, there are a vast assortment of shower glass styles that you can pick from. Some of the glass style types that are the most popular with many of our customers include:

Clear Glass: This is the most frequently used type of glass. It has a slight green tint that is inherent to all Clear Glass styles . Therefore, we do not recommend this kind of shower glass if your shower incorporates solid white tile or marble, since it will cause a green lighting to be cast against that solid white color.

Low-Iron Glass: This option of shower glass will be the best for complete glass clarity, and an excellent option for lightly colored or white accented showers.

* Please be aware that Clear & Low-Iron shower glass styles are ideal choices for smaller bathrooms, since they help to make the whole room look bigger.

Frosted Glass: This option of shower glass is partly "opaque" glass, manufactured by acid-etching or sandblasting the glass. Using frosted glass techniques, we can make your whole shower door frosted, or frosting the glass may be used to incorporate beautiful designs onto your doors.

Rain Glass: This is a unique, manufacturer made patterned glass, that runs through the whole glass panel, which can help to add a distinctly unique textured feel (and privacy protection) to your shower.

* Frosted, frosted-etched, rain textured, or tinted glass options, are normally the ideal choice if you're looking for privacy, or if you have an older shower where you do not want to have the tile exposed to UV rays, or have it seen from the outside.

Frameless & Semi-Frameless: The most durable glass thickness variant that we provide for our frameless shower doors and enclosures, is a 1/2-inch thick architectural glass (that is HIGHLY suggested for frameless showers!). However, we also offer: 3/16-inch, 1/4-inch, and 3/8-inch glass.

Framed: For framed shower projects, we recommend utilizing a glass of a thickness of 3/16-inch or 1/4-inch. This allows the glass to be "lighter" (compared to thick and more weighted frameless glass alternatives) which is due to the strong metal frames supporting the glass.

After we have a better understanding of your bathroom, and design concept, we'll make a recommendation on which thickness would be the ideal option to use for your unique project.

When studying the variables that decide the purchase price of shower doors in Gilbert, you first need to be aware of the style, size, and layout of your shower, in addition to the design and aesthetic of your bathroom as a whole.

Bigger showers usually require more glass than compact ones, and will obviously have a higher price point compared to smaller showers.

Additionally, the sort of customizations you envision will affect the overall price as well, with features including carved or chiseled edges, or frosted glass, often adding to the price too.

The more "complicated" the design, the higher the price. This is normally due to extra materials required, or time required to produce/carve/frost etc. the glass pieces to your desired specifications.

It's also important to note that curved glass, or other uniquely shaped glass doors, are more expensive than other more conventional "right-angled" enclosures.

Another crucial factor will be the over-all size of the panels you require, and the thickness/quality of the glass.

On average, custom glass shower doors may cost as low as $500-$600, and as much as $1,500. It all depends on your unique desires and requirements. You will also have to factor in the installation costs that could vary from $200-$300 plus on average.

Frameless Shower Doors Gilbert With One Panel

Frameless Shower Doors: This type of shower enclosure or door comprises of quite thick, tempered glass (usually either 3/8" or 1/2" thick), providing the glass much greater strength, allowing for it to be quite sturdy and durable. There is also no need to frame each glass piece separately as other enclosure options may need. Usually, the only "metal elements" you may find on a frameless shower enclosure is on the hinges, as well as the hardware.

Semi-Frameless Shower Doors: This shower enclosure style, can feature a "combination" of both framed, and frameless, glass enclosure elements. The glass used in this kind of door Is generally a bit thicker than in a normal "framed shower", and normally the doors of the enclosure itself are frameless.

Frameless glass shower doors have seen a rapid increase in their popularity over the last decade, and with obvious reason. Frameless doors offer a modern and clean look and feel, which may be much more challenging to achieve with a conventional "framed" enclosure option.

To get a custom frameless glass shower door (generally the best option when all things are considered), you are probably looking at paying between $900 to $2,000+ for a door and panel, with the typical amount coming in somewhere around $1,100 to $1,200.

The installation cost, which is separate in many cases, will generally be around $280 to $300.

Semi-frameless shower doors may have a very broad price range as well, usually running about $600 to $2,200 (based on the scope of your project).

While semi-frameless shower doors & enclosures are still utilized today, most contemporary bathroom designs are choosing the frameless design style. Frameless shower doors help to showcase your bathroom space, offer a more "open concept" look and feel, and provide far greater possibilities when it comes to overall design and customization.

No. Frameless shower doors do not "leak", and the Az heat has no bearing on that. While there are fairly small "gaps" near the hinges, and at times on the sides of the enclosure, it's highly unlikely that water will leak through these openings unless water pressure is forcefully and consistently pointed directly at these small openings.

We have installed thousands of frameless enclosures over the past 40 years, and "leaking" is not a concern. However, if we see that water leakage may be an issue (for example, if your tile/floor slopes the wrong way, or the direction/placement of a shower head is angled directly at the seams of the frameless enclosure) we definitely bring it to your attention during the time of measurement, and offer possible remedies prior to moving forward.

Since frameless glass shower doors do not have thick framing, they're (aesthetically speaking) a far better option to any other shower door options currently available on the market today. They allow for your bathroom’s colors, tiles, flooring, lighting fixtures, and other bathroom aesthetics to be highlighted.

Additionally, frameless glass shower doors are far easier to clean, since they don't have metal framing, only the glass and minimal perimeter support. Given these factors, the frameless option will last longer than an enclosure with a traditional metal frame.

“I had them replace a shower door that had been broken.  The price was very reasonable and they worked around my work schedule.  They made it very easy to get done. Would not hesitate to use then again!

Fancy Custom Glass Shower Doors Gilbert

We make ordering custom shower doors easy, fun, and exciting!

Our custom shower doors can vary from clean-cut lines and full multi-panel glass enclosures, to carved edges with unique designs and motifs.

If you can envision it … we can bring it to life!

With many Arizona shower doors projects, the final investment will depend on the individual project, and be based on your unique goals, wants, and project specifications.

For smaller projects (using less detailed customizations for example), the typical investment would be anywhere from $600 to $1,000, and up to $1,500 plus.

For projects requiring heavier customization (for instance frosted glass with a carved top portion that resembles mountain peaks), it might be around $1,500 to $2,000 plus.

We have installed stunning custom shower doors for as low as $1,000 for small bathroom projects, and we’ve also installed custom shower doors for huge estate bathrooms costing more than $25,000 plus.

Whatever your custom shower door project is, we can work together with you and your designated budget, to bring your vision to life!

That will depend on how long it takes for you to make your final choices on the glass type, door type, hardware and desired customizations, etc.

Once we have the details figured out, and we have finished the measurements of your shower, we'll supply you with both a cost and time estimate.

Once your order has been finalized, it usually takes roughly two-weeks from the last measure visit, to installation. However, if it's a larger project, or a project with many customizations, it could possibly take a little bit longer.

The best way to figure out time tables, would be to call us and inform our team about your project, and then we would be able to give you a fairly good estimate.

We honestly could not answer that until we learn more about what exactly you are searching for.

We believe in being honest and up-front from the very start when it comes down to our pricing (that's literally one of the main reasons why our company has such a fantastic reputation with our wonderful customers).

We do not turn down "small projects" just because of "lower budgets". We want to see everybody get to have the beautiful custom shower doors that they have always wanted, and if we can make that happen for you, we will!

However if we do not believe we can provide the quality and specifications of the custom shower doors you want (within your specific budget), we'll tell you right from the start and promise never to waste your time.

However, if we can provide other options, or maybe suggest an alternative option you may have not known about (that could still work around your budget), we are pleased to do so.

Quite often, customers with smaller budgets do not even realize all of the other choices available to them, and therefore, do not call us believing there is "nothing we can do for them".

However, when they eventually call us, they're usually pleasantly surprised. There are many budget-friendly options that we can help you to discover.

It's not unusual for a customer to call us wanting one thing, and end up placing an order for something else that fit their desires even better ... and it's usually an option that they didn't even know existed until we had shown them! (trust us when we say, this happens WAY more often than you would think)

So please do not be afraid to call us if you have a "smaller" budget! We would love the chance to get to work together with you, and in the event that we can't, we'll tell you immediately … (and maybe even be able to present a good referral to you for somebody else who can).

When you call us, you're calling a friendly, family-owned business. You're talking to real people, who want to help if we can, and we will treat you with the same respect, friendliness, and honesty with which we would treat a member of our own family.

That has been our stance from the beginning … treat customers with respect, friendliness, and honesty... and our hundreds of repeat customers have come to depend on us for that!
